Hot on the heels of
Abt's Speedle that we reported on yesterday comes an upgraded Audi Q3 from the same tuning firm.
Abt has given the Q3 its trademark body styling, which includes a deeper front bumper and air intake, side skirts and rear wing. There's also a new rear apron and exhaust pipes.
The upgrades are more than just cosmetic, though. Abt has tweaked the Q3's engines to free up as much as 250bhp from the 2.0-litre turbo petrol model. The 170bhp petrol engine has leapt to 210bhp, while the 140bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel has risen to 170bhp. The 177bhp turbodiesel is now 195bhp and Abt reckons this will be the most popular version.
To deal with the improved performance, Abt fits its own springs to the Q3 and there's a choice of 18-, 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels to the firm's own design.
