BMW's off the shelf Z4 GT3 racer has been honed and improved for 2011 with better aerodynamics and updated electronics.
The V8-powered Z4 racer now cuts through the air more cleanly thanks to fine-tuning of the front and rear wheelarch design, a new rear apron and a rear wing made of an aluminium compound.
Changes to the electronics of the Z4 GT3 include better engine management and the introduction of a steering wheel-mounted paddle shift system for gear changes. A six-speed transmission remains, while under the bonnet lies a 480bhp 4.4-litre V8 engine.
For those interested in racing a Z4 GT3, the price of the car is €315,000 (about £280,000) plus VAT and it's available to buy now in upgraded form.
