Two new Bentley models have been announced for the Middle East market. The Continental Flying Spur Arabia and Continental Flying Spur Speed Arabia have been designed to appeal to customers in the fast-growing Arabic market. Only 50 examples of these cars will be built.
To distinguish these models there are badges on the front wings as well as script on the ashtray lid and sill tread plates bearing the 'Arabia' script. There are also new alloy wheels: 14-spoke rims for the Flying Spur Arabia while the Speed version wears a bright silver, ten-spoke, 20-inch design. Other touches include ventilated seats to keep the driver and passengers cool, veneer picnic tables and a bright chrome fuel filler carrying the Bentley 'B' badge.
The W12 engines fitted to both models remain unchanged, which means 552bhp for the Flying Spur and 600bhp for the Speed model. The latter figure is enough for a claimed top speed of 200mph and 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds.
