It's one of the most exciting non-surprises of Geneva 2010. The Audi RS5 is rapid, looks great and promises to be a riveting steer thanks to a fettled quattro four-wheel drive system.
Why's it here?
Because there's a motor show happening, stupid. That and the fact this is one of the most exciting RS cars ever, blending the A5's stunning looks with a 444bhp V8 that revs to 8,250rpm. 0-62mph comes in 4.6 seconds, and the new quattro system will send most of the power to the back wheels. Power oversteer anyone? It happens in the S4, so why not?
Show stopper or floor filler?
Show stopper, but for the fact we've seen it already. It goes on sale in October and will cost £57,480 as a starting point. Taking the 155mph limiter off will cost more, as will more important stuff like an automatic garage door opener and a personal number plate.
