The Bentley Arnage has been around for ten years. To bring the series to a fitting conclusion and at the same time celebrate fifty years of the 6.75-litre V8 - as well as Bentley's 90th anniversary - the Arnage Final Series has been announced. Only 150 examples of the ultimate Arnage will be built.
Based on the 500bhp Arnage T the Final Series incorporates styling elements of the recently introduced Brooklands coupé. The Final Series Arnage is identified by special exterior and interior features. Visual changes include 20-inch alloy wheels, a billet aluminium "jewel" fuel filler cap, retractable winged B bonnet mascot, twin exhausts and Final Series badges on the front wings. Inside you get Final Series tread plates on the front door sills, drilled alloy pedals, a cocktail cabinet, hide-trimmed document storage and a stainless steel flask with shot glasses.
The head unit for the in-car entertainment system has been updated with a larger display and SD card slot. The system can be further improved with multiple inputs for iPod and other MP3 players, a remote control unit for rear seat passengers and a premium sound system by high-end manufacturer Naim Audio.
No price information has been released for the last Arnage. Expect to pay more than £178,200, the list price for the Arnage T. The Final Series will be officially launched at the
Paris Mondial de l'Automobile on 2nd October.
