Lamborghini has so far released two teaser photographs of an all-new car it promises to unveil at the
Paris Motor Show. The accompanying words told us very little, though what we can tell so far is that it has striking alloy wheels clad in 295/30 ZR19 Pirelli P-Zero tyres, a beautiful carbon-fibre rear splitter with central exhaust and most interestingly a low slung tyre-filled front wing complete with side vent draped in the Italian colours. Does this indicate a front mounted engine?
The mystery surrounding the latest offering has set Internet forums buzzing: is it a production version of the compact Embolado concept, a super SUV, or luxury saloon sharing the platform of the Porsche Panamera? Reports suggest insiders have hinted towards a grand touring car, though the latest image does not suggest that.
To further add to the speculation Lamborghini says "It's not just a new Lamborghini. It's a new world." Concept or production, either a four-door or a new entry-level model is perhaps most likely, but new world? An electric hybrid would be interesting. We'll find out for sure on October 2nd.
