The Renault Clio Sport Tourer is in showrooms and available to order right now. Available only in Dynamique trim, prices start at £12,095.
The Sport Tourer is 21.7cm longer then the Clio hatchback, the extra length allowing just over 50% more luggage space. With the rear seat in place the Tourer has 439 litres of luggage space; fold the seat and the space increases to 1,277 litres.
Renault is offering three petrol and two diesel units in the Tourer. Four of the engines emit less than 140 grams of CO2 per kilometre, including the 1.2 16v 75 engine, which puts out 75bhp and 139g/km CO2. The turbocharged 1.2 TCe 100 delivers almost 1.6-litre performance though with lower CO2 emissions and better fuel economy. The two dCi diesel engines offer either 86bhp or 106bhp, the lower powered engine returning 64.2mpg on the combined cycle and 117g/km CO2. Completing the line up is a 1.6-litre 111bhp VVT petrol engine combined with four-speed automatic transmission.
Standard equipment on the Dynamique includes air conditioning, 15-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, and six airbags. The Tourer also gets roof bars and a storage area under the boot floor. Prices start at £12,095 for the 1.2 16V 75 while the most expensive model, the dCi 106, costs £14,495. There is also a limited edition Expression model with special interior trim. The Expression 1.2 16V 75 is priced at £11,215 or £12,365 with the dCi 68 engine.
