| All-new Model Preview | Hyundai i10 |
Hyundai is unashamedly targeting the Toyota Aygo/Peugeot 107/Citroen C1 trio with its new i10 city car. The press release snidely remarks that the i10 comes with a proper tailgate, not just a 'piece of glass'. It'll take a little more than that to win over buyers of course, but that's not exactly the only trick up the i10's sleeve.
First up is the high level of standard specification, which includes air conditioning, electric front windows, central locking and four airbags. Although the only engine option is a 65bhp 1.1-litre petrol unit, it can be mated to manual or automatic transmissions.
Finally, prices will start at just £6,500, though UK buyers have to wait until March 2008 for first deliveries.
