| Concept Car | Frankfurt Motor Show | Suzuki Kizashi concept |
Little is known about the Japanese Kizashi concept, with more questions being asked than answered. What is apparent is Suzuki is using the
Frankfurt Motor Show debutant to proclaim its 'new world strategy' that will translate into a more diverse and hopefully interesting range of products.
Affirming supposed 'status' in the medium car segment, according to its creator, the show car holds a bold and low profile, with a clear black grille proudly presenting the Suzuki 'S' marque, accented by sharp LED headlights, which trail around towards the flanks and rests on the Kizashi's subtle developing waistline. Tiny aero-efficient wing mirrors sit an inch or two above the flank-crease, whilst the rear haunches are mildly pronounced thanks to a raked C-pillar. The concept looks great on huge alloys that completely fill its defined wheelarches.
Suzuki didn't offer any details about specification or whether it would build the Kizashi in a more restrained production form, so we'll have to wait and see what the new strategy will mean for the ambitious concept.
