Hiding in amongst
Frankfurt's headline acts, Renault hinted at expanding its Kangoo line-up with this, the Kangoo Compact Concept. The car, developed in association with Rollerblade, targets young and active sporty types with its two-tone Fireball Orange and Brushed Aluminium paint work covering a somewhat bulbous, yet robust and distinctive Kangoo profile. Riding on stocky five-spoke wheels with nifty blue transparent sections, the concept car gives occupants sky-views with its panoramic sunroof as well as copious amounts of headroom. Given the Compact Concept is based on a small van, in dimensions at least, Renault promises good leg room and storage space for carrying all your sports gear.
It is a possibility that Renault may enter the market with the Kangoo Compact, although whether the two-tone paint would remain is debatable. The Kangoo was somewhat outdone with its company on the Renault stand at this year's show, but it is an interesting concept if in looks alone.
