Mitsubishi will give the Eclipse Concept-E concept car its global debut at the 2004 North American International Auto Show, held January 4-19, 2004 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan.
The Eclipse was originally introduced on the North American market in 1989. The same year it received the "Industrial Design Excellence Award" from the Industrial Design Society of America. Since then, the three successive generations of Eclipse have won popular acclaim for their contemporary styling and dynamics.
With its fluid, yet muscular volumes, the 2004 Eclipse Concept-E takes this spirit a step further. Clearly linked to the Eclipse heritage, it is intended to invoke thoughts of the Mitsubishi Motors racing heritage.
The Detroit Show review will be linked from the main
Motorshows page.
