Kia has revealed its new facelifted Picanto, which made its public debut at the Barcelona International Motor Show today.
The new car sports a more rounded design both front and rear. The front wings and bonnet are all new panels, which have been extended and curved, while a new radiator grille features a black mesh background and twin horizontal chromed bars supporting the central Kia badge - claimed to be the new 'face' of Kia. Both the front and rear light clusters are also new, continuing with the rounded and smoothed theme and the front and rear bumpers are now larger and deeper. The rear roof spoiler now extends across the full width of the car.
The refreshed Picanto measures 3535mm in length (40mm) longer than its predecessor, but retains its forebear's 2370mm wheelbase. It will be available in both diesel and petrol guises (both 1.1-litre units) when it goes on sale in December.
