At first glance, you may think that the new Fiat Linea is nothing more than a
Grande Punto with a boot. Although the Linea is based on the new Punto's mechanicals and shares its frontal styling, it is in fact a new car, due to be produced in Turkey.
Fiat's current stance is that the Linea will not be sold in Britain, though we think there is a place in the range for such a good-looking, value alternative to the Focus or Mé saloons. Surely it's more mainstream than the
Croma?
Fiat will show the Linea in public for the first time at the Istanbul Motor Show in November.
