What's all this about?
Skoda has revealed two new versions of the Skoda Kodiaq; Scout and Sportline, which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show on 9th March. The Scout gets styling accessories to emphasise the model's rugged nature, while the Sportline features a more sporting look.
How do you tell them apart?
Silver trim is used on the Scout while the Sportline features black styling accents. The Scout also features prominent silver underbody protection. Each model gets its own style of 19-inch alloy wheels with a 20-inch option for the Sportline.
Inside there is Alcantara upholstery with the Sportline getting front sports seats with silver stitching. Sportline models also boast aluminium pedals plus leather steering wheel and gear lever. The Scout comes with steel pedals and textile floor mats.
Any mechanical differences?
Both new versions come with the same range of engines; there is 1.4 and 2.0-litre petrol power with 150 and 180hp respectively. Diesels are available with 150 or 190hp. All models come with all-wheel drive and CO2 emissions range from 139g/km to 168 g/km.
When do they go on sale?
Skoda hasn't said when the Kodiaq Scout and Sportline will reach showrooms; expect a further announcement closer to the date of the Geneva show.
