16 May: On 28 May over 100 classic cars of all eras will leave Peking on this year's Peking to Paris rally. The 7,500-mile route is expected to take 33 days to complete. A 1913 Ford Model T is the oldest car taking part while the newest is a 1982 Renault 4.

29 Apr: To mark 30 years of the Micra Nissan is offering a range of '30' themed offers on its supermini. Cars over three years old can get an MOT from £30 and certain parts have been discounted by 30% including tyres, wiper blades, brake pads and batteries.

29 Apr: The Rolls-Royce Wraith will make its UK debut in the window of Harrods this week. A sapphire and silver car will be on display until 4th May.

25 Apr: Nissan is supporting the British Olympic Association and British Paralympic Association for the 2014 Sochi Winter Games and 2016 Rio Olympics. As Official Automotive Partner it will supply vehicles and also provide technology to help the teams train.

22 Apr: Alfa Romeo has introduced the limited edition MiTo Live. Costing £16,590 it comes with Pioneer AppRadio, capable of connecting to and controlling Android and iPhone devices. The sound system is by Bose and Marmalade telematics insurance is available.

14 Apr: Specialist insurance broker Adrian Flux has commissioned 15 original works of art to commemorate its 40th anniversary. The pieces, including portraits of Sir Alec Issigonis, Lewis Hamilton and Sochiro Honda, will go on display in Shoreditch on April 18.

14 Apr: Joy Rainey is driving a 1904 Oldsmobile across the USA, covering 2,826 miles, to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The trip started in Los Angeles and Joy expects to arrive at Daytona Beach on 13th May. Joy's progress can be followed on Twitter.

10 Apr: MG has announced springtime special offers on the MG6. Finance deposit contributions up to £2,500 are available; buyers of the BTCC Edition model can get race tickets and branded clothing; and a free tow bar is on offer for the DTi-TECH version.

07 Apr: The Donington Historic Festival on 3rd-5th May will see a replica 1937 Mercedes W125 Grand Prix car making demonstration laps of the circuit. Weather permitting the Saturday and Sunday will also see a flypast by the Battle of Britain memorial flight.

07 Apr: Norfolk Fire Service has taken delivery of a Chevrolet Volt as part of an initiative to reduce the service's carbon emissions. The Chief Fire Officer praised the car's carrying capacity and performance characteristics for emergency work.

02 Apr: The Infiniti Q50 is touring the UK following the model's launch at the Geneva Motor Show. From 9th to 11th April Infiniti Centre Glasgow will have the new car on display. The Q50 will officially arrive in five months with a starting price of £27,350.

25 Mar: The first British car to achieve 100mph, the Vauxhall 30-98, celebrates its centenary this year. This May, 50 examples of the model will return to the Waddington Fell hillclimb, the site of the car's first appearance and its first competition victory.
