| New concept car | Bentley S3 E Design concept |
The Bentley S3 was a serene old saloon until the Bentley Boys USA get their hands on it. This group of Bentley-mad car customisers from America have designed their own ideal classic saloon, which they call the S3 E Design Concept.
The S3 E Design is set to go from concept to reality when Bentley Boys USA builds three of the cars to sell for $150,000 each (about £75,000). Based on the chassis and body of an original S3, the E Design has reworked styling that includes flared wheel arches and covered-in headlights similar to the current Arnage's.
The suspension is lowered to give the S3 E Design a 'lead sled' custom car look and it rides on 20-inch forged alloy wheels with Continental sports tyres. Power comes from a 4.4-litre BMW V8 engine with 300bhp and a five-speed automatic gearbox. There's also a hand-made stainless steel exhaust system with pipes that poke out from exits cut into the rear panel.
Bentley Boys USA says each car will be built over an eight month period.
