There are few more sensible choices out there than a diesel Golf. Punchy and economical, neatly styled and wearing a badge that's a cut above mainstream rivals. It's little wonder they sell so well. Too sensible perhaps? Not now there's the GT Sport, a racier looking Golf that borrows design elements from the GTI.
