Jarno Trulli impressed by first drive in Jordan Mugen-Honda 199: (01 Dec)
Jarno Trulli today had his first experience behind the wheel of the Jordan Mugen Honda 199 in Jerez. Jarno worked with his new team to test development parts on chassis 01, completing 13 laps. Chassis 06 was also used to ensure that Trulli gained maximum running time on general set-up, completing another 32 laps.

Jordan had their best ever season in 1999 - can they do even better in 2000?

Enthused by his first drive, Jarno commented, "I am very happy about my first day with the team, they have impressed me with the way they work, using both cars to ensure that I was gaining mileage on the track while the other car was in the garage. I am happy about my lap time today but feel that I have still not reached the car's full potential. I am looking forward to improving my time tomorrow."

Jordan Mugen Honda 199 voted Germany's favourite car in reader poll: (01 Dec)
Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive of Jordan Grand Prix was at the Essen Motor Show in Germany on Tuesday to collect an award for the Jordan Mugen-Honda 199. Readers of Rallye Racing magazine in Germany voted the car their favourite of 1999 in the Formula One category and the overall classification.

Amongst the nominees were rival teams McLaren and Stewart who were 5th and 24th respectively and the Audi A4 Quattro that won the German Super Touring Car Championships.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway & Jordan sign agency agreement: (30 Nov)
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Jordan Grand Prix Ltd have signed an executive agency agreement covering brand development in their respective North American and European markets. This will mean that both parties will work together on the growth of their brands within the stated global areas.

IMS Properties, the retail marketing arm of Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation, will be responsible for promoting the Jordan Grand Prix brand name properties across the United States, Mexico, Canada and other markets as opportunities arise.

"Indianapolis is one of the most famous motor sport venues in the World," confirmed Eddie Jordan, founder of and CEO of Jordan Grand Prix. "I am delighted that Jordan has this new association, given the importance of next year's U.S. Grand Prix and our determination to make Indianapolis a permanent fixture on the Formula One calendar. This deal reflects Jordan's innovative approach to building its international profile and gives the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and excellent platform within Formula One."
