Item 1 of 9: British GP results

I am glad to say that Mika has silenced the critics. Whatever McLaren have done to his car has revitalised his passion to drive. As well as several aerodynamic tweaks, Hakkinen reckons that the new Bridgestone tyres suit his driving style more. Unfortunately, we were not treated to an exciting race for the lead. Michael Schumacher was not happy with his car, so he basically let Mika lead, and David Coulthard went out in the first few laps after coming together with Jarno Trulli in the first turn. The championship is still there for the taking, but it is slipping further away for DC. The next race is in two weeks at Hockenheim in Germany.
