Kelvin has been busy this week. As well as a report and pictures from the Donington Park round of the BTCC, he was one of the first journalists to drive the new MG ZS-180 saloon.

The Car Enthusiast is now selling the contributors photographs in printed format. Send us an email to find out more.

If any of our readers think they are up to being part of The Car Enthusiast team, please let me know, Shane - Ed.

The quirky Daihatsu YRV 4trak. Photograph by Daihatsu.   Item 5 of 13: Daihatsu YRV
Until recently, Daihatsu was spoken in the same breath as Kia, Hyundai, and Daewoo. However, it appears that a concerted effort is being made to lift the company's products above the usual bargain basement. Saying that, the quirky, very Japanese, YRV range starts at a piffling £7,995 in the UK! That includes power-steering, twin airbags, a radio-cassette player, rev-counter and even electric front windows. Top-of-the-range is an even more bizarre four-wheel drive version - the 4trak. This is available for £10,995, and features a sportier character, plus a drivetrain that only uses four-wheel drive when necessary. YRV stands for Young Recreational Vehicle, and is the one of the latest crossover vehicles from Daihatsu.
