Mclaren Formula One

Everybody knows that Mclaren is the team to beat. Expect them to maintain their aerodynamic advantage and the super reliable Merc V10 to be as powerful as ever. Hakkinen is the man of the moment but do not underrate Coulthard, as there may be a realistic chance for the Scot to capture the championship if Hakkinen falters.

Australia was not quite the beginning that Mclaren needed, but it is not time to write the team off yet. Before the breakdowns in Melbourne, the cars were searingly fast - if the reliability is sorted out without slowing the cars down, then the rest of the field will be no more than mobile chicanes for David & Mika.
