PEUGEOT 106 RANGE GAINS INDEPENDENCE
The 106 Independence is a 3 door version of the popular ‘city car’ equipped with a nippy 1.1 litre petrol engine which delivers 0 - 62 mph in 15.4 seconds at an economical 46.3 miles per gallon (combined drive cycle). Unique to the Independence is the distinctive Sinsiba cloth trim which is colour coded to the colour of the car’s exterior and there’s a matching badge to complete the look. The 106 Independence is available in a choice of four metallic colours: Firedance, Mauritius blue, Tuscany green and Moonstone at an attractive price of £6995 on the road with the added extra of a year’s free insurance. This new model complements the popular 106 Zest 2 and Zest 3 models which gain some new additional features with Zest 2 taking remote control central locking, and colour coded instrument dials and Zest 3 an attractive new velour trim. Zest 2 and 3 models are available with either a 1.1 litre petrol or 1.5 litre diesel engine at prices starting at £8020 for the Zest 2 and £8840 for the Zest 3. For the more sporty driver the 106 Quiksilver gains stylish Alize alloy wheels and body coloured door mirrors as well as a new badge to further enhance the exterior styling. The interior has also received attention with the introduction of a sporty chrome finish that highlights the handbrake buttons and air vent directors. And designer labels are added to the distinctive Quiksilver seats to complete the designer look. At the top of the range the renowned 106 GTi with its 120 bhp 16 valve engine gains further refinements of passenger airbag and chrome finish on both the air vent directors and handbrake button. And it is now available in the popular metallic colour, Moonstone. The Peugeot 106 offers a range of models for everyone with prices starting at just £6995 on the road inclusive of three years of warranty cover. |
