BARCELONA TEST

Jos Verstappen continued to drive the A21 today, after an initial run to check the balance of the car the team ran some new tyre laps. With the first new set of tyres Jos set a lap time of 1:20.90. On the second run Jos was able to improve his lap time to a 1:20.65.

Thereafter the teams commenced a series of slightly longer runs to work on both the set-up of the car and reliability issues. Several set-up changes were made as the team and Driver worked to gain a better understanding of the A21. To end the day a longer run of 14 laps was completed, this gave a total of 48 laps completed for the day.

Both team and driver were delighted with the days efforts with Jos commenting that the "balance of the car was really good throughout the run".

Conditions throughout the day were ideal with clear blue sky's and a temperature of 16 degrees.

Testing will continue tomorrow.
