ROVER 75 AWARDED JAPANESE IMPORT 'CAR OF THE YEAR'

The Rover 75 has won the prestigious Japanese Import Car of The Year award '99-'00 against competition from the world's motor industry. With 484 points it comfortably beat other finalists which included the Audi TT (380 points), the Peugeot 206 (248 points), Mercedes S-class (217 points), VW Beetle (187 points) and the Jaguar S-type (134 points).

Launched into the Japanese market at the Tokyo Motor Show in October, the Rover 75 has received world acclaim with the achievement of several major awards:
