What's this then?
According to its creator it is an athlete, complete with bulging Bavarian muscles; for the rest of us it is an Audi RS 5 with extra performance parts to turn it into the ABT RS5-R. It comes with big wheels, a body kit and extra power to ensure the performance matches the looks.
Is it fast then?
ABT claims that the 4.2-litre V8 engine now produces 470hp and 440Nm, up 20hp and 10Nm on the standard car. Performance figures quoted are 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 180mph. Part of the improvement is credited to the sports exhaust, which is available in two versions: a conventional system that exits beneath the back bumper and a version where the pipe terminates on the left side of the vehicle.
What about the body kit?
All the body additions are fashioned in carbon fibre and the RS5-R gets a front air dam, side skirts, rear valance and boot lid mounted wing. The front bumper incorporates 'AeroFlics' to channel airflow along the side of the car. There is also a set of 20-inch, black finished, forged alloy wheels that weigh just 9.3kg each.
