What's the news?
Skoda has announced new 'Black Edition' versions of every car in its range. Based on the SE trim level the limited edition models come with black alloy wheels and other exterior detailing as well as standard DAB radio. Prices start at £10,090 for the Citigo (£1,030 more than the SE) while the extra equipment is said to be worth at least £1,200 depending on the exact model.
Each Black Edition model comes in black paint, while the Fabia, Octavia, Superb and Yeti also get the option of white bodywork. In addition to the wheels and detailing the cars come with sunset privacy glass.
Exact specifications vary by model but typical features include satellite navigation, leather upholstery, cruise control and special floor mats. Examples of prices for the rest of the line-up include £15,490 for the Fabia and Roomster while the Superb and Yeti Black Edition cost £23,630 and £23,990 respectively.
Anything else?
Skoda expects the Octavia Black Edition to be particularly popular with a choice of hatchback or estate body and 140- or 170hp turbodiesel power. Prices for the Octavia Black Edition start at £21,685.
