What's the news?
Honda has launched its summer special offers for the Civic and Civic Tourer ranges and announced the arrival of the new Civic Black Edition. The Black Edition gets a unique look, while 'affordable' finance and fixed price servicing is available across the range.
As the name implies the Black Edition gets lots of black trim, including the rear spoiler, body skirts and mirror caps. There is also a 'Black Edition' aluminium badge while customers can choose between the 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel and 1.8 i-VTEC petrol engines. Finance on the special edition Civic is available with monthly repayments from £249 over three years, 0% APR and a £500 deposit contribution.
Other examples of finance costs on the Civic include £239 per month for the 1.8 SE Plus or £249 for the 1.6 i-DTEC and Civic Tourer, all with 0% APR and up to £500 deposit contribution. Anyone who buys a Civic over the summer (until 30th September) can purchase five years' warranty, servicing and roadside assistance for £555.
Head of Cars at Honda (UK), Leon Brannan, commented: "Once again we are doing all we can to bring down the cost of ownership for our customers with some very competitive offers on the ever-popular Civic. We are also very pleased to be introducing the special Black Edition, which delivers the same versatility, refinement and efficiency which Civic customers want but with even further standout appeal."
Anything else?
Honda has finance offers on its other models too; a Black Edition of the CR-V is available from £329 per month and the Jazz Si from just £189 per month.
