What's the news?
Audi has announced a new fixed price Service Plan for the four-cylinder (up to 2.0-litre displacement) Audis that have just gone out of warranty. The introduction of a scheme like this not only means that the cars will be better looked after, it will also reflect in the higher resale value of the vehicles, says Audi.
So, if you have a non-hybrid Audi car whose age is somewhere between 36 months and 72 months (from the date of registration), a fixed service plan for £299 (including VAT) can be bought for the vehicle.
As part of this plan, you get two complimentary services: one major service and one oil change service at any Audi Centre. The two free services need to be availed of consecutively. But the good part about the pack is that it's transferrable (should you plan to sell the vehicle), with no age, mileage, or time limit on the validity of the plan.
It must be noted that while the services are free, if there's a replacement of any part required, the customer will have to bear the expense for that.
Anything else?
With the Service Plan purchased, a service can be easily booked online. And it's not just the old cars that Audi has these fixed priced service plans available for; you can get a similar plan for brand new Audi vehicles too, though the pricing varies.
