What's the news?
Tuning specialist TechArt is showing off a number of styling modification packs for various Porsche models at the Frankfurt show, but its two most significant ones are the GrandGT kit for the facelifted Panamera and the surprisingly subtle styling kit for the Cayman.
The Cayman kit consists of an adjustable, two-position rear wing and a striking set of 21-inch alloy wheels. Other options available for the car from TechArt include a smaller, more subtle rear wing, front chin spoiler, a rear diffuser and side vents and wing mirrors finished in TechArt's 'Meteor Grey.'
The interior can be upgraded with all sorts of carbon and leather options, including dials and carbon-fibre panels finished in TechArt's trademark bright orange, and there's also the option of TechArt's bespoke three-spoke steering wheel.
Mechanically, TechArt offers a kit that lowers the Cayman's suspension by 35mm and there's also a beefy sports exhaust, with a custom bypass valve for extra noise, finished in menacing matte black.
On the Panamera, the GrandGT kit consists of a front splitter and spoiler with larger air intakes that feed extra airflow through to the front brakes. There's also the new TechArt Multifunctional Daytime Running Light system that combines LED daytime lamps, indicators and parking lights into one unit.
The Panamera GrandGT also gets a carbon fibre bonnet and twin spoilers, one on the roof, one on the boot, at the rear. There's also a sports exhaust system with massive oval rear pipes. Inside, there's a lot of carbon, leather and, of course, TechArt's usual bright orange finish.
Anything else?
As well as those two debuts, TechArt is showing off its new Formula IV light alloy wheel, aero kits for the Cayenne and 911 Carrera 4 and a power kit for the Cayenne diesel.
