Jaguar Land Rover will be celebrating half a century of James Bond movies at the Paris Motor Show next week by displaying a Land Rover Defender featured in the upcoming movie, SKYFALL.
The model in question is a heavily modified Defender Double Cab Pick Up, and is driven by field agent Eve - played by Naomie Harris - in the opening sequence of the film.
Andrew Noakes, co-producer of Skyfall says, "Bond is quintessentially British, and Jaguar and Land Rover are two of the most globally recognised British brands."
In total, Jaguar Land Rover provided 77 vehicles for use in the movie, including Defenders, Range Rovers and Jaguar XJs; used both on-screen and as behind-the-scenes support vehicles.
"Land Rover is extremely proud to be associated with the new James Bond film," comments John Edwards, Global Brand Director for Land Rover. "The Defender is recognised for its rugged appeal; and the Range Rover is the pinnacle of SUV luxury and capability."
SKYFALL will premiere in the UK on 26th October, and will then be rolled out across the globe. Alongside Daniel Craig - making his third appearance as James Bond - the cast includes Dame Judy Dench, Javier Bardem and Naomie Harris.
