Winter may not quite be over but Mazda has announced the latest MX-5 special edition ready for the spring. Based on the SE and Sport Tech it is called the Venture Edition.
Customers can choose between the 1.8 soft-top (SE) and 2.0 Roadster Coupé (Sport Tech). Exterior equipment includes 17-inch gun metal alloy wheels, a chrome front grille and 'Venture Edition' badges.
The interior features Havana Brown leather seats, a leather steering wheel and hand brake with contrasting grey stitching. The door panels are trimmed to match. The Venture Edition is the first MX-5 to come with satellite navigation - an integrated Sanyo TomTom system with 5.8-inch touch-screen.
Mazda offers a choice of three paint colours: Metropolitan Grey Mica, Radiant Ebony Mica and Crystal White Pearlescent. The last two are exclusive to the Venture Edition.
A limited number of cars will be sold in the UK: 250 soft-top and 550 Roadster Coupés. Prices start at £18,995.
