Fiat has announced pricing for the revised 2012 Punto range. Starting with the £9,990 Pop 1.2 the line-up offers a choice of seven engines and three main trim levels.
The latest Punto gets colour-coded bumpers and three new paint choices: Britpop Blue, Tango Red and Underground Grey. Inside, there are new seat fabrics and dashboard inserts.
There are also two new engines in the line-up this year: an 85hp version of the 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel and the 0.9-litre petrol TwinAir. The latter of those is due to arrive in April. Every engine features stop-start and a range of power outputs from 69- to 135hp is available.
Just like the Fiat 500 and forthcoming Panda there are three trim levels from Pop, through Easy to Lounge. A sporting version has been spun off from the Easy grade and is known as GBT.
Equipment on the Pop includes remote central locking, an MP3 compatible sound system and electric front windows. Easy adds a leather steering wheel, air conditioning and 15-inch alloy wheels. The GBT also gets sports suspension, rear spoiler and side skirts. Top-spec Lounge versions come with climate control, cruise control and ambient interior lighting.
Prices for the Easy trim level start at £11,300 and Lounge versions from £12,900.
