The US version of the fourth generation Honda CR-V was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. The American model comes almost a year ahead of the new European CR-V.
For America the CR-V gets a bold, three-bar front grille, power comes from a 2.4-litre petrol engine and the interior gets easy folding rear seats and better quality materials.
Europe will get its own version of the CR-V designed for this market. Production will be based at Honda's factory in Swindon and the model will be launched in autumn 2012.
