From 60-degree heat to Arctic conditions, Mercedes' latest wind tunnel can create any type of weather its engineers want.
Everything from tropical rainstorms to freezing snow showers can be dialled into the new wind tunnel at the Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen plant.
The technology has been built to speed up the development of new cars, as most of the work can now take place in the wind tunnel rather than out in the elements. When a new model has reached an advanced state, it can then be sent to various parts of the real world for final testing.
