Owners of Audi's high performance RS5 now have the option of even more speed thanks to German tuning firm, MTM. The reward for a trip to MTM is a new top speed of 188mph - up from an electronically limited 155mph. This increased top speed comes courtesy of MTM's 'V-Cantronic' control device, which can be installed at a cost of about £1,500.
Also available is a 'double flood' stainless steel exhaust system with throttle valves, offering a restyled rear end. The ceramic-coated black end pipes are engraved with 'MTM'. For about £2,500 the sound coming out of the tailpipes is sure to be as impressive as their appearance.
A set of nine-spoke "Bimoto" alloy wheels are also available in 19-,
20- and 21-inch diameters for the RS5, as is MTM spacer kit, which widens the track by about 20mm. Prices for the MTM alloy wheel set, including tyres, start from the Euro equivalent of £1,874.
MTM upgrades are available from MTM partners in the UK or directly from MTM in Ingolstadt, Germany. Prices are estimated and converted from Euro prices.
