Fiat has announced the arrival of its latest limited edition. Two hundred examples of the Fiat 500 BlackJack, with special matt black paint, will go on sale this week.

According to Fiat it is the first car in its class to feature matt paint; a finish previously reserved for more expensive machinery. As well as the unique colour the cars get metallic-effect door handles, body mouldings, mirror housings and number plate holder. The 16-inch alloy wheels are painted to match the body and carry a red coach line. The interior gets a set of special carpet mats.

Two versions are offered with either 1.2- or 1.4-litre power. The latter can be identified by its red brake callipers. Prices are £12,165 and £13,565 respectively.

The Fiat 500 BlackJack can be ordered through the company’s web site www.fiat.co.uk. More limited edition models will be announced later this year.
