Chevrolet has confirmed that the latest Camaro is coming to the UK. The official announcement will be made at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where a yellow and black 'Bumblebee themed' car is on display.
Only the top, 420bhp, V8 model will be imported. This has a claimed 0-60mph time of less than five seconds and top speed limited to 155mph. Although the styling is clearly inspired by the original 1967-69 Camaro the suspension is right up-to-date: multi-link independent suspension replaces the leaf-sprung live axle of the original.
Chevrolet's pony car for the 21st century will go on sale in 2011 in Britain and full prices and specifications will be announced nearer the time. Potential customers can register their interest at
