We showed you pictures of the facelifted Fabia and Roomster from the
Geneva Motor Show; now Skoda has announced prices for both models. The new Fabia will start from £9,330, while prices for the new Roomster begin at £11,260.
Both cars will be available with new engines, along with a redesigned radiator grille and '3D-shaped' headlamps. Skoda's new engines are equipped with direct fuel injection and most feature turbocharging. Power outputs range from 60- through to 105bhp.
Both fuel consumption and CO
2 emissions are reduced throughout the range. Models powered by the 1.2 TSI 105bhp petrol engine, coupled with a seven-speed DSG gearbox, deliver 53.2mpg and CO
2 emissions of 124g/km. All engines comply with EU5 emissions standards.
The Fabia and Roomster are both available in S, SE and Scout specifications, with the Fabia gaining an extra trim level named Elegance.
