The Porsche Panamera Turbo has come in for the speedArt treatment ahead of the Essen Motor Show, Europe's leading shop window for tuning firms. speedArt's PS9 takes the Panamera Turbo's V8 engine to 650bhp and 656lb.ft of torque courtesy of larger turbochargers, a new intercooler and rewiring of the car's ECU brain.
As part of the conversion, speedArt has also fitted the sports exhaust with a sound switch that, when pressed, allows the V8 engine to make as much noise as it wants. The exhaust pipes are finished in polished or matt black. Other less powerful states of tune are available with the PS9, ranging from 520bhp to the full 650bhp, but only the most powerful model manages 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of more than 200mph.
To deal with such high speeds, a new body kit is fitted to the PS9 that uses a front chin spoiler to create more downforce and also direct cool air to the larger sports brakes - featuring six-piston callipers. There's also new bonnet vents, side skirts, rear spoiler and a diffuser at the back. Massive 22-inch alloy wheels and tyres complete the exterior look of the speedArt PS9.
On the inside, speedArt has reupholstered the steering wheel and it's available with aluminium, wood or carbon fibre finishes. There are also carbon fibre inlays used throughout the cabin and customers can choose their own design of dashboard, door panels and leather seat colour.
