The Keating TKR will be on display at the MPH '09 Show. The British contender for the production car Land Speed Record will be on the Reef Paint Shop stand.
With a turbocharged, 7.0-litre Chevrolet V8 putting out 1,800bhp the TKR is apparently capable of 260.1mph. Although the car has been officially measured at a speed 3mph higher than the current record holder (the Shelby Aero TT) it needs to return to California and make another run to secure Keating's place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
For the MPH show Reef Paint Shop has stripped off the TKR's original red paint and sprayed the car gloss black with a custom flair in candy-brandy wine.
MPH '09 runs to 8th November at Earls Court, London and 12th-15th November at the NEC, Birmingham.
