Ferrari has produced a one-off version of the 599 GTB Fiorano for the Chinese market. Based on the 599 GTB Fiorano China Limited Edition it is signed by Chinese artist Lu Hao and will be auctioned for charity.
The China edition 599 is a run of 'less than a dozen' cars featuring two-tone paint, Chinese characters instead of conventional numerals on the rev-counter and fitted luggage decorated with a map of the Silk Road trade route. The one-off model, finished by Lu Hao, features special paint with a lustrous finish and 'cracked glaze' effect that resembles antique Ge Kiln porcelain.
This unique Ferrari will be auctioned on 3rd November in Beijing. Part of the proceeds of the sale will go towards funding an education sponsor project, supporting students of automotive engineering.
