Fans of future-looking concept cars will recognise the Fluence title Renault has bestowed upon its newest car, but the conventional four-door saloon is a world away from the svelte coupé of the same name shown at the
2004 Paris Motor Show.
Although the Fluence is not destined for the UK or Ireland as yet, it does hold a few clues to forthcoming technology, including a range of diesel engines emitting just 119g/km and the promise of an all-electric version on the market by 2011.
Produced in Turkey, the Fluence goes on sale there in November, with Russia and Romania also destined to receive the new Renault four-door.
