Citroen have launched the lifestyle version of the C3, tagged XTR. Changes
over the standard model are largely cosmetic with the addition of larger
front bumper and grille, and moulded plastic sill and wheel arch extensions.
These should help the XTR stand up to everyday urban life and protect the
body work from knocks and scrapes from other traffic and shopping trolleys.
Further cosmetic enhancements are the fog lamps, 15" alloys and roof rails.
The interior benefits from a new two-tone upholstery design with aluminium
effect fittings. Standard equipment includes a CD player, electric
windows and ABS with EBD.
The XTR benefits from the standard C3's roominess and packaging and is
available with the 1.4-litre 16v petrol or diesel powerplants. Prices start at
£11,795 in the UK.
