Nissan has updated the
X-Trail,
Navara and
Pathfinder line-ups to give customers better value for money. All three models enjoy a simplified range structure with Acenta and Tekna trim levels. Along with price cuts on some models, Nissan is offering a Personal Contract Purchasing scheme with 0% APR.
Acenta replaces the Sport and Trek models in the X-Trail range, while the Tekna replaces the Aventura Explorer. Both models receive minor improvements in standard equipment, yet prices have been reduced by over £500, with the X-Trail Acenta manual now costing £22,345. Just two diesel engines are now offered: a 171bhp unit with a six-speed manual gearbox and a 148bhp version for customers who prefer an automatic transmission.
Both versions of the Navara are powered by Nissan's 2.5-litre dCi diesel. The Navara Acenta is offered with either the two-door King Cab or the four-door Double Cab, while the Tekna is offered only with the Double Cab. The Acenta now costs £16,295 - a £1,300 price cut. The Navara Tekna comes with leather seats, roof rails and automatic headlamps. Depending on the exact version it is about £550 cheaper than the outgoing top-spec model. Prices for the Tekna start at £20,195 with automatic transmission adding £1,100 and satnav costing an extra £1,300.
The Nissan Pathfinder comes with the same 2.5-litre dCi engine. The range starts with the Acenta, costing £26,895 including 17-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass and four-wheel drive. Customers wanting more luxury can chose the Tekna with leather trim, Bose sound system and a rear-view camera. Available with manual or automatic transmission, the Pathfinder Tekna starts at £29,895.
The updated range will reach showrooms in June although the models can be pre-ordered now. Any customers wishing to spread the cost of Nissan's four-wheel drive vehicles can take advantage of 0% APR PCP until the end of June.
