Renault has released the first details and pictures of a facelifted Clio, which will debut at next month's
Geneva Motor Show. Though obviously based on the outgoing car, the new Clio features a completely new front end, inspired by the new-look
Renault Mégane.
Though there are other changes to the rest of the exterior and the interior (including the new option of a relatively low-cost integrated TomTom satnav system), the big news at this stage surrounds the introduction of a new GT model.
Renault has already had success with its
Twingo GT and
Laguna GT: models that are sporty, but not as hardcore as the Renaultsport variants. The Clio GT follows suit, with a distinctive, though not over-the-top body kit, twin-exit exhaust, alloy wheels and interior upgrades. As yet there are no details on pricing, or for that matter what engine will power the GT.
All will be revealed next month in Geneva.
