Nissan has announced the name of its concept crossover ahead of its debut at
next month's Geneva Motor Show. The Qazana concept mixes coupé and SUV in a compact five-door shape and it is said to closely resemble a new production car from Nissan.
Only the sketch you can see above has been released as yet, though Nissan has revealed that the Qazana will feature 'suicide doors' hinged from the rear and that the shape will be dominated by wide, prominent wheelarches. The production of a compact crossover - in Nissan's UK plant in Sunderland - has already been confirmed.
Ready to hit the showrooms later this year are the new
Nissan 370Z and Cube. They both make their European debut in Geneva.
Another 'world debut' on the Nissan stand will be a seven-seat passenger carrying version of the company's new NV200 commercial vehicle. Nissan claims that the MPV-like car will feature flexible seating and storage options.
All will be revealed on March 3rd, when the first press day begins. We'll be there as usual.
