| Ultra Limited Edition | Frankfurt Motor Show | Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang |
Looking like a UFO in all but flight path and finished in the pure colours of the carbon and aluminium materials it's made from, Bugatti has revealed an ultra special, ultra expensive Veyron 16.4. The Pur Sang takes its name from the French for 'Pure Blood', used to describe not just the extravagant exterior but also its weight - the car weighs 90kg less than a
'standard' Veyron so expect the absurd 2.5 second dash to 60mph from a standing start to reduce slightly.
The Italian manufacturer is using the Veyron Pur Sang as its first in a number of future projects aiming to increase the number of personal and bespoke options in its production cars.
Priced at £950,000 and limited to a run of just five cars, the Veyron Pur Sang is an ultimate 21st century collectable. Just 24 hours after a special VW Group launch on the eve of the
Frankfurt Motor Show all five were sold.
