What's all this about?
Aston Martin has taken over a corner of Harrods, with a window display celebrating the company's 'DB' models. The display and an in-store exhibition area will run until 28th January.
What can we see?
Three cars are lined up to catch the eyes of passing shoppers with pride of place going to the Aston Martin DB10. For over 50 years Aston Martin has been associated with the James Bond film franchise and the DB10 was created for Bond to drive in the latest film, Spectre.
Possibly the most famous of the company's products, the Aston Martin DB5, is also part of the display. The DB5 was launched in 1963 and established many design themes used in the current range. Representing the models available to buy new is the Aston Martin DB9 GT; described as 'the best of what a DB9 can be'.
Specialists from Aston Martin will be available to provide visitors with more information about the Aston Martin product range and the brand's recently launched AM37 yacht, created in partnership with Quintessence Yachts.
Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman said; "Harrods is one of the world's most trusted luxury brands and we are delighted to join forces with them to create this rather unique display in tribute to our most famous nameplate."
