What's all this about?
ABT has announced performance modifications for the Audi TTS, described as 'an XL performance injection'. Maximum outputs of the 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine go from 310hp and 380Nm to 370hp and 460Nm. If that doesn't sound like enough then an 'XXL' ABT Power S option is in the pipeline.
What about the chassis?
There are ABT springs and anti-roll bars and for a wider track wheel spacers are available in 24- or 30mm sizes. A choice of alloy wheels in 18-, 19- or 20-inch sizes are available with 255-section tyres and 40, 35 or 30 profile respectively. ABT is also working on a six-piston sports braking system.
Any cosmetic modifications?
If you fancy a new colour there are vinyl wraps in gloss, matt, pearl or metallic finish. ABT Sportsline also offers front and rear skirts, mirror caps and a fixed rear spoiler. To complete the effect there is an exhaust system with four black-chrome plated tail pipes. A new, ECE Approved, 'Y-pipe' and sports catalytic converter is also available.
And if I have an ordinary TT?
There's a performance package for the 230hp Audi TT too, which brings the power output up to 310hp (from 230hp) with 440Nm of torque.
