I say Carruthers, old chap. What's a Beluga?
Well, Chomondley-Warner, it's a whale. Or a type of caviar.
Oh, really? But what's it got to do with bally old Bentley?
Ah, I see. Well, it's what they call a 'trim level', which is how poor people work out if their car is nicer than their neighbours'. Bentley's getting into the frame because it has got a job-lot of black radiator grilles and some huge wheels it needs to get shot of. So you can now spec your V8 Flying Spur saloon with Beluga-spec wheels, in either 20- or 21-inch sizes, with a 'Black and Bright' machined finish. There's also a blacked-out air intake to go with the new grille.
Inside, they've thrown a whole Steinway's worth of piano-black wood trim at it, as well as knurled gear shift paddles, contrast stitching for the luxurious seats and steering wheel as well as deep pile floor mats and boot carpet with contrasting leather binding. Plus, if you go for the Mulliner Driving Specification there are diamond quilted hides, a knurled gear lever, drilled alloy pedals and an indented hide headlining, dontcher know.
Anything else?
No, it's only available on the 4.0-litre 507hp V8 models.
Ah, so not expensive enough for either of us, eh?
Not with a Tory government in power, what?
Bahahahahaahahahaaha!!!
